Boost your fertility with a combination of right food and the right amount of food. If you are trying to conceive, try following a balanced diet and healthy eating habits. A balanced diet not only nourishes the reproductive system but also regulates the hormones. Certain minerals and vitamins must be included in your regular diet if you are trying to get pregnant and gunning for a healthy pregnancy.

Zinc is responsible for the level of testosterone and semen in your body. It is important to include foods rich in zinc – here dried watermelon seeds, roasted pumpkin seeds, squash seeds, crabs, peanuts will come to your rescue.

Stress in whatever form should be avoided since it affects ovulation. Also, the sperm motility must be high. You must consume Vitamin C and antioxidants to achieve this. So increase intake of citrus fruits, strawberries, papayas, kiwi, bell peppers, guava, broccoli, amla and dark leafy vegetables.

It would beneficial if your partner incorporates Vitamin D and calcium in his diet regularly as well. This will help to increase the male fertility rate as well.
